Hi, I’m Jeremy Borouchoff.  I’ve been collecting stamps since my Mom gave me her stamp album when I was 11 years old.  I earned my B.A. in History at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  This blog is the combination of two of my favorite subjects:  Philately and History.  I’m also a musician and collecting musicians and composers on stamps is a subset of my hobby or a topical interest.

I recently started selling stamps and my customer base is growing.  You can see some of my auctions and approval books on the StampoRama website.  I also list philatelic items for sale on Ebay.

Please share your comments, thoughts, ideas, dreams or amazing adventures with us here on this site.  It’s supposed to be about fun!

  1. Dear Jeremy Borouchoff:

I suggest you a links’ exchange.
I just add a link to your site in mine:

    My website basic facts:
    Title: Encyclopaedia Philatelica
    URL: http://www.encyclopaediaphilatelica.net
Description: Multilingual encyclopaedia composed around four sections: personages, fauna, flora & geography. Picture gallery about iconography, genealogy, history, art & taxonomy.

Thank you in advance and best regards.

I remember going downtown to the stamp store MANY years ago now. So happy you still love it and are sharing this passion.

    1. Paul, I too remember that crowded little store at the top of a flight of stairs in the downtown area! The selection of stamps was fascinating and the patience of the man who ran the shop seemed endless as we barraged him with questions about the hobby. I always felt like a kid in a candy shop when I was there.
